Exactly what I was looking for with my teenagers! It fits perfectly into our daily routine! We leave it open on the counter for our kids to read as they wish. At supper time, I bring it to the table while we're eating and have one of my teens read one side out loud. I then read the other side (since they speak about the same idea, but with a little different wordage). Then we discuss for about 5 minutes. All of the pages are concepts/understandings I want my kids to have and I love how you have put it into an easy to use resource for the busy family. Thank you!
I love having the Modern Manners flip book on my counter. I alternate which side is displayed daily of a single topic. I also read it one on one with my teens who roll their eyes and smile at me but I know they are hearing me. I also seem randomly reading it while waiting at the microwave or eating cereal in the morning. After 7 days, flip to the new topic. Love it!

We are two weeks in and we have this sitting in our kitchen, and I bring up the topic several times throughout the week - encouraging my kids to play along when there are role play situations that allow them to practice the phrases. Many visitors to our house have commented on it as well and asked where they can get one.
Love it! My 16 year old daughter has level 1 autism with a pda (pervasive drive for autonomy) profile, so it’s hard for me to teach her, she needs to feel in control all the time.
