Use them in a way that works for your family or group!
Work on one manner per week
Families love doing “Manner Monday” where they introduce the manner, talk about what it looks like, then work on implementing it all week long.
Keep it casual
Set the book out where it’s easily seen (kitchen table, bathroom counter, nightstand) and flip the page every few days. Let your teen take it in on their own.
Teaching turns
Let each family member take turns teaching a manner. They pick the one they think the family needs and teach it to the group.
Earning opportunity
For those who need a little motivation, pay $1 for every manner read and discussed. They earn $52 and become more confident, connected, and kind in the process.
For Teachers
“Manners Monday” has been an absolute hit at every level. Students are eager to learn ways to be more successful in their relationships and daily life. It gives the students common language, and gives the teacher more peace and control in the classroom.
