52 Modern Manners for Teens- Volume Two

The Follow-Up Guide to Build Confidence, Social Skills, and Real-World Success

Teens today live in a fast-moving world. Between screens, social media, online gaming, and constant notifications, many miss the everyday lessons that once came naturally—how to hold a conversation, show respect, and celebrate others.

At the same time, teens are expected to navigate digital spaces, online etiquette, and complex social situations with very little guidance.

52 Modern Manners for Today’s Teens Volume 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the popular first volume. It makes teaching real-life skills simple, practical, and even enjoyable. With 52 new weekly lessons, parents, teachers, and mentors can help teens build confidence, strengthen relationships, and succeed socially and emotionally.

This book works with your teen, not against them. You can:

  • Discuss one tip per week at the breakfast table
  • Snap a photo of a tip and send it by text
  • Let your teen read it independently
  • Display a tip for daily, natural reinforcement

Each lesson is short, actionable, and easy to remember—perfect for teens who may resist traditional lectures. Over time, these small insights turn into habits that shape how teens communicate and connect with others.

  • Be a Good Conversationalist
Conversations go both ways. Answer questions fully, ask one back, and add thoughtful input to make discussions meaningful.
  • Celebrate Others
When someone succeeds, celebrate with them. Avoid comparisons or minimizing achievements. This builds emotional maturity and stronger friendships.
  • Give Your Attention
Whether in a store or on a call, put away phones and headphones. Showing attention demonstrates respect and social awareness.

…and 49 more practical lessons covering digital responsibility, teamwork, empathy, kindness, respect, and confidence.

  • Teaches life skills in small, easy steps
  • Encourages independence and self-guided learning
  • Builds confidence in social, digital, and real-world situations
  • Explains the “why” behind good manners
  • Creates natural conversation starters for families

Teens ages 11 and up. Ideal for shy teens, outgoing teens, and everyone in between. Parents, teachers, counselors, and mentors will find it a helpful, judgment-free guide.

8 x 8 stand up flip book with spiral binding and a built in stand.

If your teen enjoyed Volume 1, Volume 2 adds 52 brand-new lessons. Together, both volumes provide two full years of actionable guidance to help teens thrive socially, emotionally, and digitally.

Teens don’t need long lectures—they need small lessons they can use every day. 52 Modern Manners for Today’s Teens Volume 2 turns simple tips into lasting growth

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

Loved by 200,000+ Families

Wow...I love both of these volumes of Modern Manners for Teens!

We have both of them, strategically positioned in our home for our two teens to see. They have brought up great conversations, which I love, and I also love that, by having them open in our house, we are sharing great information without it always coming from the voice of Dad and Mom. These tools are a great help and springboard! Thank you!

Sara

This helps me teach my teens important life lessons that I may overlook.

I have an adopted son from foster care and purchased this for him. He’s really been enjoying learning how to do things correctly. He reads it everyday as a reminder what to work on. Teachers at school have even commented on his changing behaviors! Win!

Janice
This is my second book of modern manners.

We flip the book once a week and talk about them. It's a great way to share important information about life skills and decisions with teens.

Carolyn

This book covers useful topics such as communication, respect, social situations, and everyday etiquette. The lessons are short enough to keep a teenager’s attention and provide good conversation starters for families. Some advice may already be familiar, but it is helpful to have everything organized in one place.

Stevie

Love this manners book for our kids and honestly, it's a great reminder for adults too. We keep it on the kitchen table and it’s such a great conversation starter. The short lessons make it easy to read each week and easy to put into practice. It's been a very simple and meaningful addition to our family routine.

Cbird

These books are wonderful and helpful to the whole family! So thoughtfully written! We’ve loved everything purchased from this author.

Jennifer

Not only is this book great for your teens, but it is so good for us as adults to be reminded as well. It comes made really well with easy to read pages and a thick cover so it stands up well. I display mine in the kitchen and we switch it every week. It has been soooo good for our family! Get it, you will love it!

Do you wish your teens would listen to you, but of course you're the parent that doesn't know anything? This is a great neutral party advice book for teens. I flip through these pages every now and then, and my teens finally realized it wasn't just me telling them to change their clothes every now or then, or to speak up and say hi to people. Great advice and a great format for teens to learn from.

It’s so amazing to see the most common-sense advice that I totally believe and try to teach my kids written on a page - and that my kids just flip through the book and actually read it! Having a second witness to so many of the lessons we try to teach at home is SO powerful! Brooke is amazing! I love the flip chart format as well. We keep it on our breakfast bar and it gets tons of mileage with my four kids.

MJ Beecher

What every parent needs sitting displayed in their household! I have it permanently displayed on my kitchen table. My children and I eat together and have “Monday Manners & a Meal” together. We go over the manner and talk about it throughout the week before moving onto the next one the following week. It is very nicely done!

Brittany

As a 5th-grade teacher, integrating “52 Modern Manners for Teens” into my classroom routine has been a transformative experience...I highly recommend it to educators looking for a fun and effective way to teach manners.

I really like this thing. It’s bigger than I thought (I was imagining one of those page a day calendars). One of my kids dislikes it (I think she’s offended that we think she needs manners even though I’ve told her it is really helpful for the whole family). I think with more time she will warm up to it. It’s already sparked some good conversations.

It's perfect. I haven't given it to my team yet but I looked through it and it's exactly what I wanted and it came on time in good condition.

Love it! My kids grab it and seem innately interested in reading it. As evidence, it is getting dirty and grimey with fingerprints in the kitchen counter so I’m pretty sure it is getting handled a lot 😆
